Bypass ISP Blocking

Provider Works for Others but Not for You?

If a provider works for other users but not for you, your ISP (Internet Service Provider) may be blocking the provider website URL. Start with the options built into Vega. Use the external methods only if those do not help.

Built into Vega (Recommended)

These options only change how Vega connects. Nothing else on your device is affected, and you do not need another app.

  1. Change DNS

    Fixes blocks where your ISP's DNS hides the provider website.

    • Android and TV: open Settings > Network and set DNS over HTTPS to Cloudflare or Google.
    • Desktop: open Settings > Preferences and set DNS over HTTPS to Cloudflare or Google.

  2. Turn On Anti-DPI Mode

    Gets past ISPs that inspect traffic to block websites. It uses ByeDPI inside Vega, without a VPN. It does not help when the ISP blocks the website's IP address.

    • Android and TV: open Settings > Network and turn on AntiDPI Mode.
    • Desktop: open Settings > Preferences and turn on Anti-DPI Mode (ByeDPI).

  3. Turn On WARP Mode

    Sends Vega's traffic through Cloudflare WARP. This also works when the ISP blocks the website's IP address.

    • Android and TV: open Settings > Network and turn on WARP Mode.
    • Desktop: open Settings > Preferences and turn on Cloudflare WARP Mode.

External Methods

If the built-in options do not work, try these in order. They change settings or install apps outside Vega.

  1. Change Android Private DNS

    1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet.
    2. Select Advanced > Private DNS.
    3. Select Private DNS provider hostname.
    4. Enter one.one.one.one and tap Save.

    You can also use Cloudflare Family DNS if you prefer family-safe filtering.

  2. Use the ByeDPI App

    If Private DNS does not work, install ByeDPI, open the app, then tap Connect.

  4. Use a VPN

    You can use a VPN to bypass ISP-level blocking. Some websites detect and block VPN traffic, so a reliable premium VPN may be required.
